Service Department Call Operator

Job Purpose:

Job Description:
Handle customer queries both by telephone and by email
Research required information by using available resources
Manage and resolve customer complaints in line with company procedures and policies
Provide customers with product and service information
Enter new customer information into IT systems
Update existing customer information
Process job cards and make appointments
Identify and prioritise issues
Follow up customer calls where necessary
Document all call information according to company rules and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:
Good level of communication by email and phone
Good listener and problem solver
Able to understand and analyse each situation by offering tangible solutions
Fast learner and well organised
IT proficient in Microsoft Office
Team player
