To keep a clear view of your culinary creations, it’s important to regularly clean the oven glass. Grease and grime can accumulate over time, but with Bosch’s easy-to-remove door design and our powerful degreaser, cleaning has never been easier.
Cleaning oven glass
Step by step guide
-
Use Our Cleaning Gel Spray:
For routine cleaning, we recommend our effective cleaning gel spray. It’s tough on grease but gentle on surfaces. Simply spray it on the glass, leave it to sit for a few minutes to loosen burnt deposits, and then wipe clean. The spray is also odourless, so your cooking won’t be affected by unwanted smells. -
Remove the Oven Door and Glass:
Check your oven’s instruction manual to ensure the door can be safely removed. Lay some towels on a flat surface to prevent scratching. Open the oven door fully and release the locking levers (keeping your fingers clear of the hinges). Important: Ensure the oven is completely cool before removing the door. -
Clean the Glass and Door:
Once the door is removed, you can detach the cover at the top of the door to access the glass. Use our degreaser, which is designed to tackle tough grease and grime. Spray it on and let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then wipe away the residue with a damp cloth. -
Important Notes:
Avoid using a glass scraper or harsh glass cleaners, as they can damage the surface.
