The F2 error code comes up after several hotplates have been used over a prolonged period at high power settings. The hotplate has been switched off to protect the electronics.
1. Allow appliance to cool down.
Wait a while.
2. Touch any button.
When the message no longer appears, the electronics have cooled down sufficiently and you may continue to use your appliance.
