If your ceramic hob is not heating, there are a few checks you can run yourself before searching for professional help. Our guide below will help you complete the necessary steps required.
Ceramic hob not hot enough
Check the power
Increase or deactivate the Power Management setting. You can find more information about this in the instruction manual for your appliance.
Deactivate demo mode
1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply for 30 seconds by briefly switching off the circuit breaker in the fuse box.
2. Press down on any panel button within the next three minutes.
Check the sensors are working
If your finger or the dial surface is wet, contact may not be registered. Please use the appliance with a dry hand, on a dry surface.
If the sensor is irresponsive or only some of the heating zones are working, please book a technician visit.
