Oven not switching on

If your Bosch oven isn’t turning on, follow these simple troubleshooting steps to help identify and possibly resolve the issue:

Check the power supply

  • Verify the Power Connection: Ensure the oven is securely plugged into a working power outlet. Over time, plugs can become loose, so make sure it’s properly connected.

  • Inspect the Circuit Breaker: Go to your home’s electrical panel (fuse box) and check if the circuit breaker for the oven has tripped. If it has, reset it and try turning the oven on again.

Assess control settings

  • Child Lock Feature: If the oven still won’t turn on, check if the child lock function is enabled. This feature can prevent the oven from operating. Consult your user manual or view our online guide for instructions on how to deactivate it.

  • Timer Settings: Ensure the oven is not set to a delayed start or timer mode, which could prevent immediate operation.

If none of these steps solve the problem, it may be time to contact our Customer Service team or book a repair with one of our professional technicians.
