Customer Service Coordinator

Scope:
Oxford House, synonymous with the import and retail of home appliances, kitchens, home furniture, bedding and office solutions, is seeking to recruit the services of a Customer Service Coordinator to join its team. The ideal candidate will form part of the Customer Service and After Sales Team, primarily responsible for the coordination of after-sales support.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the customer call agents, while liaising in an effective manner with technicians and spare parts personnel.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high service and technical standards.
  • Communicate with clients and actively participate in escalated complaints targeting resolution.
  • Monitor technical response time, while being participant in appointment scheduling.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Manager for the optimization of positive outcomes.
  • Liaise with foreign and local counterparts to fulfill customer service obligations.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Contribute towards after-sales service development, identifying processes that can be improved, and flagging concerns.
  • Maintain reporting systems to track strategic goal accomplishment.
  • Ensure full health and safety compliance is in place, reporting incidents as required.
  • Mentor the team, participate in training opportunities, targeting positive outcomes and continuous personal development initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in both Maltese and English languages with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • A Level standard of education and proven experience in after-sales, customer service, or sales support.
  • Technical knowledge on home appliances is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft applications and Shireburn software is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and patience.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
