Scope:
Oxford House, synonymous with the import and retail of home appliances, kitchens, home furniture, bedding and office solutions, is seeking to recruit the services of a Logistics Clerk. The Logistics Clerk, operating in a dynamic, customer orientated environment, is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of delivery and installations’ appointments, while supporting day-to-day office operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner, providing accurate information.
- Draw appointments for the delivery of goods and installations, maximising productivity while meeting customers’ exigencies.
- Liaise effectively with internal sales team members, coordinating their needs throughout the product retail journey.
- Support the shipping function through the timely scheduling of deliveries of goods reaching the warehouse.
- Assist the warehouse, delivery and installations team, addressing their day-to-day requirements in a timely manner.
- Fulfil general administration duties including the processing of stock location transfers, invoicing, the issuance of warranty certificates, and similar.
- Remain abreast with the ever-evolving industry trends, while garnering a high level of product knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Proficiency in both Maltese and English is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent listening and problem–solving abilities.
- MQF Level 4 qualification.
- Minimum of 2-years experience in the logistics field, administration, or a similar job role is highly desirable.
