The Sales and Design Consultant is responsible for the conceptualisation, design and retail journey, exhibiting to the clients an offering, be it a kitchen, bedroom or workspace environment, that meets and exceeds their expectations and exigencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Understand customer requirements and exigencies through active listening and by posing relevant questions.
- Provide guidance and recommendations based on customers’ preferences and budget requirements.
- Design the kitchen, bedroom or workspace project from conception to completion, while collaborating closely with other design team members.
- Prepare accurate, detailed and attractive renders, furniture plans, and attractive quotations.
- Negotiate and close sales transactions, efficiently and accurately, aiming to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Be actively involved in the furniture ordering process, following up on changes required, ensuring customer satisfaction is prioritised upon.
- Address concerns professionally, ensuring the response time is within standards established.
- Seek post quotation diligent feedback that allows for improved closure rates.
- Remain abreast with the ever-evolving industry trends, while garnering a high level of product knowledge.
- Fluency in both Maltese and English is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent listening and problem–solving abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- MQF Level 5 qualification in Interior Design, Spatial Design or a related field, will add value to the application.
