Sales and Design Consultant

Scope
Oxford House, synonymous with the import and retail of home appliances, kitchens, home furniture, bedding and office solutions, is seeking to recruit the services of a Sales and Design Consultant. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting customers from start to finish.

Responsibility
  • Welcome and engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Understand customer requirements and exigencies by actively listening and asking relevant questions.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations based on customers’ budget constraints.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge.
  • Designing the work space, office, kitchen or other furniture requirements from conception to completion, whilst collaborating closely with other design team members.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed quotations based on customers’ design requirements.
  • Be actively involved in the furniture ordering process, following up on changes required, ensuring customer satisfaction is prioritised upon.
  • Address any concerns diligently.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and installation timelines with relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the furniture field, interior design, or a similar retail field is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish a rapport with customers.
  • Excellent listening and problem–solving abilities to understand and address customer needs effectively.
  • Even though training will be provided, proficiency in design software and similar tools will be considered an asset.
  • Being fluent in both Maltese and English adds value to the application.
