Scope
Oxford House, a synonymous importer and retailer of home appliances, kitchens, home furniture, bedding and office solutions, is seeking to welcome a Finance & Administration Assistant, on a full-time basis, to support our financial team in managing various financial tasks and administrative duties.
Responsibility
- Liaise and engage with customers, suppliers and third-party service providers in a professional manner;
- Perform general bookkeeping and accounting duties;
- Input financial data into accounting software and ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain the sales and purchasing ledgers;
- Process payables, receivables and payments;
- Actively participate in debtors’ control;
- Address clerical work and offer interoffice support, including receiving and processing mail;
- Assist the team with any day to day adhoc tasks.
Requirements
- An Advanced Level Certificate in Accounts, and/or previous experience in an Accounts or Administrative field;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Good grasp of numeracy and analytical thinking skills;
- Excellent organisational abilities;
- Even though training will be provided, proficiency in accounts’ software and ECDL certification, will be considered an asset;
- Being fluent in both Maltese and English adds value to the application.
